At Middle Bay Construction, we believe strong communities are built on more than structures—they’re built on opportunity, stability, and people. That’s why we’re proud to share that William Daniel, CEO of Middle Bay Construction, is participating in the 2026 CEO Build with Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside, joining more than 75 business leaders across the Tampa Bay region to help make the dream of homeownership a reality for a local family.
In addition to hands-on participation in the CEO Build, Middle Bay Construction is deepening its impact through a significant materials donation by contributing enough siding to help up to 60 families achieve affordable homeownership. This donation allows Habitat to extend the reach of the CEO Build far beyond a single home, multiplying its impact across the communities it serves.
Now in its 5th year, the Habitat CEO Build brings together leaders from Pinellas, Pasco, and Hernando Counties who are committed to addressing the growing need for affordable housing. The 2026 build will take place in Largo, Florida, where participants will help construct a new home for the Wesley Family.
The build will benefit Tyshawnna and Andre Wesley and their four sons: Chayse (11), Avion (8), Ashton (8), and Adrian (7). Tyshawnna works as an Endocrinology Representative at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, where she has been dedicated to serving patients and families for the past three years. Through Habitat’s affordable homeownership program, the Wesley family is working toward long-term housing stability and a brighter future.
“We were thrilled when we learned about the donation from Middle Bay Construction,” said Rick Vail, Director of Construction at Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside. “Our team immediately adjusted the build plans to ensure every piece of siding could be used. The materials were quickly picked up and mobilized, and they will be put to work right away. This generous contribution will impact far more than a single home and it’s expected to help us build at least 40 homes for families in our community. We’re incredibly grateful for Middle Bay’s support.”
“Affordable housing is becoming increasingly out of reach for families across our region,” said William Daniel, CEO of Middle Bay Construction. “Participating in the Habitat CEO Build and being able to contribute materials that will support dozens of families is a hands-on way for business leaders to step up, give back, and create lasting impact in the communities where we live and work.”
Giving back is core to Middle Bay Construction’s mission. As a company rooted in building and improving spaces where people live and work, we recognize both the responsibility and the opportunity to strengthen our community beyond the jobsite. Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside provides a meaningful avenue for philanthropic leaders to collaborate, lead by example, and turn resources into real outcomes for families in need.
